So last year i bought a 2011 gs convertable.
it has an edelbrock supercharger, long tube headers, x pipe and.....some sort of lopey cam. I had a (lifter) ha ha failure on #8 which cleared up......it threew a missfire code and was ticking. Then #4 cyl had a lifter failure which made me park the car.. i just pulled the heads and #4 ex and #8 ex lifters wont come out! Gota pull the cam out this weekend and see the real carnage on the lobes and find out what cam is in there.
with 8 out of 16 lifters sounding like gravel in the rollers should i pull the block and send to machine shop or just replace the oil pump cam and lifters ???
Got 53k on motor.
Oh fyi it redlineredlines at 7k and has seen the rev limiter a few times racing lambos and teslas 😁 won every time
