I have a 06 C6 Z51 Corvette and the problem that happens ever so often is I get the "Service Ride Control". It drives fine with no hick-ups and when it happens, at my next stop or where ever I'm going I'll shut the car off and may not see it pop up again for a few months at a time. Then the same thing until I go through a key cycle and of coarse it disappears as soon as it starts back up and again it may not return again for a while. Anyone have this happen and know what might be causing it? BTW, the car isn't driven that much and has a tad over 27K on the OD. I talked to a dealership and they said you can keep on driving it until it comes on steady. They say it's probably some sort of steering sensor on the steering column and the steering column must be dropped or pulled out to replace it. I'm at 74 years old and doing that sort of job is out a the question.
