In case anyone had been looking at these, I tried them out. They're $150 shipped vs $700 for the Morimotos. I figured for the money, it was worth a shot. The lights look surprisingly good and all the LEDs lit up fine. The wiring is messier than the pics I've seen of the Morimotos but there is no splicing involved. You just have to plug in to the socket, then plug in and mount the resistors. Unfortunately, the housing lacks the 2 tabs at the bottom of the light to hold them and when I installed the first one, it was very wobbly at the bottom. The other issue was with hyperflashing. They came with resistors, but that didn't help. I could have lived with the hyperflashing but the fitment was a deal breaker. I figured I'd share what I Iearned in case anyone else was contemplating ordering them. I may still try to make them work, maybe with the resistor harness I've seen available or just better resistors and also modifying the housing so they stay in place. I'm curious how they'd hold up long term. For now, they're a no go. But they did help me see what the dark smoke looks like and I do like that finish. So, I got something out of it.
