Good Morning All,

I am looking for your assistance this morning. I will keep this as brief as possible so bear with me, please.

I am new to the Corvette scene, (previously had an 11.10, 01 Formula) and have been lurking in this group for several months now. I have been looking for a Vette for almost a year now, but have not pulled the trigger. After months of going back and forth between a C7 Grand Sport and C6 Grand Sport I have chosen the latter. I have a total budget of $65,000.

I have decided to purchase a 2011-2013 C6 Grand Sport, auto, coupe, less than 10,000 miles ideally, and a 3LT or 4LT. I want to put my own stamp on this vehicle, and plan to build accordingly. I am a planner, so even though I do not have the vehicle yet I want to start accumulating parts.

The goal for the vehicle is a mid to high 10 second car, and I figure I will have $15,000 - $20,000 to invest for modifications to get me there. Monitoring the market, I am alotting $45,000 - $50,000 for the vehicle due to my very specific requirements.

I have purchased a Corsa CAI thus far. I am also ready to pull the trigger on Texas Speed Headers, and BBE Bullet exhaust, with a full dyno tune. This will essentially be Stage I of the build.

Stage II will consist of a cam and stall convertor (I am thinking 3400 stall).

Stage III will be an ECS blower.

My questions are:

Will this budget and build plan get me to my goal? If i do this build in stages over the course of a year, and install a cam BEFORE the blower, will I have to change the cam to a different spec. to maximize blower potential? Is there any advice you could provide me with the most logical way to accomplish this? What, if anything am I overlooking.

I appreciate any, and all feedback.
