MGW Shifter Install

So it had to happen.....just my luck don't you know......I installed the MGW shifter Sunday and dropped a Torx 40 tip (1"long) into the area left of the shifter. Couldn't even see it but I tried to retrieve it with an extendable magnet and of course NO LUCK. So my question is this....What kind of problems can I expect with this loose metal piece floating around down in this hole?
