I have a 2010 Cyber Gray Base model coupe. It is all stock currently and Im looking to add a ZR1 extended kit from Extreme Online Store (EOS).
Now, I understand this is all subjective, and Ive spent hours across Google and other forums trying to find the different finishes EOS offers on Cyber Gray C6 cars. I have yet to settle on what I think would look best.
My taste when it comes to modifications is subtle. Nothing over the top or loud. Almost factory like appearance if you will.
1. Unpainted ABS - looks too cheap to me personally plus I dont want to color match these parts since most of the kit sits a few inches off of the ground anyway. Plus I like the idea of seeing the extended spoiler.
2. Glossy Black - this is one of my choices Im stuck on. I do plan to add gloss black wheels at some point so this might be my best option. Cyber Gray against gloss black to me seems like a good combo without actually seeing it in person.
3. Hydro dipped ABS - this was the other choice I'm stuck on and also my first choice originally but with the color of the car I think the fake carbon fiber color will blend in too much. I maybe wrong hence why Im here asking opinions. If people say carbon fiber over the gloss black it will be hydro dipped and not real carbon fiber. Real carbon fiber is too expensive for me to have a few inches from the ground getting hammered by debris and possibly bumping something while parking.
4. Real carbon fiber - see option 3 above.
I know I maybe making a big deal about something so small but I believe in doing it right the first time. Id hate to spend money twice on something.
