Trouble downshifting to 2nd and 5th

Ive got a 2007 C6 Z06 with 57k miles and when downshifting from 6th to 5th as well as 3rd to 2nd, I get locked out. Upshifting from 1st to 2nd and 4th to 5th, theres no problem, however downshifting is seemingly impossible. Theres no slight nudge into the gear and a grind, its just a lockout. It rows up all gears and down all gear perfectly fine at idle/off.
I first noticed this during my roadtrip last week 10 hours (730ish miles), before then I was able to downshift into 2nd. However I have never been able to downshift into 5th since I bought the car in September.

Attempted the shifter alignment/adjustment but didnt see anything out of the norm.

Did the ranger method a few weeks ago and checked the fluid today, it wasnt terribly dirty, but it wasnt clear (slightly yellow) and just below the max level line.

Every vehicle Ive owned other than my daily has been manual so ever since Ive owned the car Ive rev matched on all downshifts, and Id also like to rule out bad synchros due to the fact that upshifting into those gears there is no problem and no grinding.

The only way to downshift into second is double clutching, but I have to let go of the shifter, if I double clutch fast and go straight from 3rd to 2nd its still locked out. I can also push clutch in downshift from 3rd to 1st then into 2nd very easily (simulating an upshift), rev match, clutch out.

Its just annoying to me, as I downshift to 2nd very often during city driving.

I searched all throughout the forums, but no one seems to have this exact problem.

Any and all help is appreciated.
