Why doesnt pulling the fuse work?

I just took delivery of a 2012 grand sport convertible centennial with a dual exhaust mode. I’ve read that if you pull the fuse, the valves will stay open all the time. I pulled the fuse, and nothing happened. When the car is off, the valves are open. As soon as it starts the valves close. I tried pulling the fuse while it was running, and before starting to no success.
I’m sure I pulled the correct fuse. (Far lower right corner.) I don’t understand why this is not working. I looked in the manual and it said for my car, that fuse spot is an extra.
I am literally lost at what I am supposed to do to get those damn things to stay open.
Suggestions??? Thanks in advance.
