Recently, hail damage came and busted my windshield.
I have an 09 with HUD.
Went with a very reputable company here (not Safelite.)
They put on the windshield and as I was driving home, I notice the HUD had ghosting. The camera does pick up on it a lot more than what you see in person. The people there were saying it looked clear/no ghosting/double images. Argued with them but to no avail. They all were saying it was clear, minus one person, whom the supervisor discredited him and said he will say anything. Supervisor even had the nerve to tell me to drive with it off, and to get his staff member to pay for it. He says he will contest it because he cant warrant it since he cant see anything wrong.
The brand is XYG, even though it says HUD, it's not. I wish I did research and got the ap tech
Calling my insurance since they said they warrantied this shops work, hopefully they can resolve this issue.
