Engine idle rims drop real low when stopping, with occasional stalling

I have a brand new 2020 720S that most of the time when you come to a stop light and the car automatically or manually downshifts, when it drops into 1st, the engine rpms will drop way down to 250-300, sometimes stay there, sometimes bounce back to 500, and sometimes come back up to 700-800. This is sporadic and there's no consistency with it. I does it in active, sport and sport, auto, and manual. A/C is on. If I put it in track for performance, the rims consistently drop to around 900...
