OK, uncle I give up. I need some input from you guys.
2010 Grand Sport convertible, never been wrecked, 10k miles, cannot get the stinking tonneau convertible top lid adjusted. I know most of the time, the lid sticks up when the motor actuator is broken . But mine pulls down too far, especially on the passenger side.
I adjusted the lid stops but that didnt help.
Then, I just tried adding some body shims between the pass side hinge and the lid itself. Believe it or not, that didnt faze it. Still pulled down too low.
Then, I removed the waterfall to see if the pull down actuator had any upward adjustment. Nope! I loosened the bolts but it wouldnt move upward anymore. Top of its travel already.
Im including some pictures of the issue but please know, the trunk lid might look like its sitting too high but its actually nice and even with the rear fender tops.
Anybody had this problem before?
