LS7 intake on LS2 visual upgrade ONLY

can i use a ls7 stock air intake on my ls2 just for aesthetic purposes only if i were to block off the MAF opening on the side and leave everything else stock LS2 wise, maf/intake boot ect ect?

not looking to retune, get a harness adapter or make any kind of power gains, STRICTLY visual upgrade only..? thanks guys
