I tried to do some searching but with so many different answers I needed a refresh on the issue.
My drivers side rear tire went flat the other day. no nail or sign of a hole. I took it off and took it to a tire shop.
they told me the core was leaking and they replaced it. I checked the PSI inflated to at 31psi.
installed the tire back on and now the DIC indicates low warning and shows 13PSI. Ive driven it for a bit but nothing changes.
So my question.
Did they need to do anything with the TPMS since it was only a core replacement?
if they didnt need to, do I need to do some kind of a relearn on that sensor?
If they did need to and didnt Im guessing I need to return to the shop to have it fully repaired?
is it possible they damaged the TPMS and now that sensor must be replaced.
Since I have no experience with these sensors Im not sure the right answers to my questions.

On another point, my passenger side front tire sensor goes on periodically showing XX for pressure and very shortly goes back off.
With this im thinking either the sensor is bad or needs to be recalibrated as well.
I have no history of when or if the original sensors have ever been replaced.
It will be too long to wait til its new tire time to replace all sensors as these are fairly new tires when I bought the car last year.

thanks,

Greg
