Tire valve caps frozen on.

Bought some tire air valve caps from Amazon. Put them on the car and I went to check the air pressure I can't get them off. They have been on it for awhile and made of aluminum. Tried everything, lubricating them, pliers, vice grips. I don't want to go to crazy as I don't want to tear up the stem. Any ideas on how to get them off.
