I bought an 06 base model with 30,000 miles last summer and its been my first year storing it. I live in Wisconsin and the weather gets pretty cold. Recently I broke my foot and havent been able to drive it or start it. I havent had it on a trickle charger either. The battery was dead when I tried to get in, so I unlocked the hatch and pulled the cord to open it,etc,etc. When I got it hooked up to my Jeep and let it charge for a little I could get the electronics on and lights and everything but when I pushed the push start it would click once and shut off. Sometimes it would click a few times, and sometimes it would click until I let off the push start button. I let it charge for a good 15 minutes before attempting again, but nothing. Voltage read 13.2 which from what I can tell is average. Im wondering if this is just a completely dead battery from sitting in the cold for a couple months, or if it could be a starter/solenoid or something else. Your input would be appreciated and Ill be trying to get it running again this weekend. Thanks :cheers:
