I went out two days ago and the battery is dead on my 12GS convertible. I was simply gonna pop the trunk w the key and hook her up to a charger but Noooooo! The key will not release the trunk. Ive tried pushing steadily or back and forth as Ive jiggled the key. Shot WD-40 up into the lock hoping it would loosen something up.. nope. Any ideas? Plasma cutter, saw? 😀 I just wanna get the door or the hood open to charge the battery back to life. I would appreciate any guidance you guys & gals could give me.
