C6 NPP Exhaust Bigger Tips?

Has anyone here replaced the stock NPP tips to a 4 or 4.5-inch and still retained the NPP functionality? I'm looking to weld on some bigger tips and possibly bring them closer together to close the Gap in between. PFA
