Hi,
I have replaced the clutch and slave cylinder in 2006 corvette (LS3). I can't bleed the clutch. I tried all possible ways to do it:
1. pressure container with fluid from the top and unscrew the bleeder on the bottom - the fluid goes through the line and drips in the bottom. The clutch is not working - zero resistance on the clutch pedal.
2. The manual method with push the pedal, unscrew the bleeder, screw the bleeder, pedal up, pedal down etc.... - nothing happens. The pedal has no effort.
3. ranger method - with pumping pumping for few minutes. Still no pressure.
I noticed that while I push the pedal - air/fluid is sparkling from the cap vent, and when I pull the pedal up, the air comes into the container through the vent.
I assume to cap is faulty and I am not able to bleed the clutch because all the pressure I try to build up with the pedal is escaping through the cap vent?
Am I missing sth ?
I also can't find the cap as a replacement part - is it possible to purchase only the cap without buying the whole master cylinder?
