I have a dumb question, I may just be overthinking but I'm not sure. I wanted to ask here before taking the vette in.
I have a 2008 LS3 with almost 130k miles. The exhuast smells strong coming from the tips of my exhuast. I can't smell it while driving, I can't smell it when idling at a stop. I can't smell it in the cabin either, it's only when I go behind the car to get something out of the trunk (while it's running) .
It's hard to describe what it smells like, it doesn't smell sweet, or like gas. It doesn't smell like sulfur or rotten eggs. It's just a strong, hot, kinda musty smell. Is this normal? I wish I had a better way to describe it. I'm a little stupid so I appreciate any answers. Thanks.
