Hi, hope everyone is well. I am luckily in the position to purchase a Mclaren and found a (used) car I like at a franchised dealer. I submitted a few pre-approval apps and got a favourable response. However, as I moved into the approval process, something interesting transpired. Apparently because I only moved to the US three years ago and haven't taken out any large auto loan of scale, the lenders I spoke to aren't willing to underwrite a 70% loan against the car.
