Hello again friends,
just this past weekend my brother joined the club and purchased a 2012 torch red manual car (pics coming soon) and I had to drive it for him because he hadnt learned stick yet. The car was AMAZING but theres one thing that was worrying me a little. His oil temp was pretty high. It was about 80 degrees Fahrenheit and we were in mild traffic but the temps stayed around the mid 240s and even hit 253 at 2k rpm in 5th gear. RADIATOR TEMPS WERE BETWEEN 190 and 220. My first thought was that he should get an oil cooler but maybe its a bad sensor? Im a little worried about this as my brother isnt exactly mechanically inclined and I want to catch this before it becomes a problem.
