Today being a complete wash out in the Northeast, I got bored decided to clean rear cradle & rear upper/lower control arms.
This is by far the best remedy for cleaning aluminum I found.
- can of Wd-40
- scotch brite pad (red)
- microfiber rag
with very little elbow grease. Soaked pad with Wd and lightly rug surface. Than follow with wiping clean.
Results are aluminum looking brand new.
I did my entire rear (2008 Zo6 low miles) but normal road and years grime .. in less than a hr.
Dont mind the complete mess of my garage floor lol
