I had this code pop up a few days ago. I knew something more was wrong than just a code being cleared, as I disconnected the battery, but the fault remained.
I figured it was in the switch itself because when disengaging the parking brake, the switch would stick in the forward position and not spring back to “neutral “.
I don’t know how I did it, but I popped the switch off the actuator underneath.
I was easily able to separate the black lever that says “brake” on it from the assembly and...
