My uncle suddenly passed away and he always wanted a corvette and we always talked about getting one. I want to make his dream come true (have learned the term "dont wait to start living" since he passed) but I am stuck between c6 gs or a z06. The z06 would be something he would of been so proud of but the gs is just more practical especially for a DD
No intentions to track but plan on a long term ownership (and turning it into the car that would make me thr cool uncle to my nieces and nephews)
If I went z06 I know I'll need to get heads/etc taken care of which adds to the cost but would be the dream for sure
If I went gs I'd keep it relatively stock (headers only probably) then go for a a&a supercharger from rpm but that would be 3-4 years down the line just because I want to enjoy my first raw v8 power
I'm 26 w no plans for kids and budget wise 35-45k if that matters
