Hi, all! I am in the process of going back and forth with a Chevy dealer regarding a used 2006 Z06 I'm interested in. They've provided the below numbers after some negotiation. I am from Tennessee and the dealer is in Florida; I would likely use enclosed transport to get the car home. I've never purchased a car out-of-state before and I'm a little unsure on the process. They say they're charging taxes based on my home zip code, in addition to the doc fees and "government fees" - they say these are for "tag electronic filing". I don't want to pay fees in Florida and then turn around and have to pay additional fees in TN, and of course, definitely don't want to be screwed over by the dealer. Does this all seem right to you? Any other info I should be asking them for? Thanks for the help!
