mso nano tips corroded....

Hi guys, first post, sorry for coming on and straight away pecking your heads, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? My 2019 570s has the MSO nano black exhaust tips on it, and theyre starting to corrode quite badly. Mclaren are saying its not their problem, even though I only bought it last March as an approved used car, and the solution theyre offering is to take them off and repaint them, which I'm not overly happy with. And replacement tips are about a grand...
