Noisy Plexiglass Top

I just picked up a new-to-me 2008 C6 base (build date 11/07) that came with the dual top option. The painted top is great and have no complaints other than a droopy headliner that I had reglued. I tried the plexiglass top for a day but it is so noisy I couldn't stand it. I came across the TSB for the new handle design and can't tell if I have the rollers or the solid teflon block. Whichever it is, it appears someone epoxied the little black pieces to keep it from moving. I cleaned, lubricated, and tightened everything. The guide pins also have o-rings already. I bought 3/16 and 7/32nd e-clips/circlips but cannot get them to fit into position. I like the translucent top but it just creaks every time I go over the slightest bump.

Are these the roller style or the teflon block?

Is there anything else I can do to eliminate squeaks/creaks or is the plexiglass top inherently more noisy?
