Been meaning to write this up for a almost 6 months now since I do get a lot of questions from people in various groups, car meets, and social media on what all is involved with converting everything to AN fittings. I'm not done with my routing, I've changed some of the hoses several times, but mostly nobody but me notices any of the deficiencies. Also my Engine bay is filthy and a bit uh rusty because I'm kind of an idiot (if this whole thread didn't tell you that already) and left it outside in the rain with no hood on, so that's going to be really fun to clean up and make shine new.
Step 1: Be ready to spend more money than you thought, but also probably (please dear god hopefully) spend less than me.
Step 2: Really think about if you want to do something pretty much nobody will see.
Step 3: Order parts and feel the regret start to sink in
Step 4: Install stuff and admire it.
Going to do this by system and I will add pictures a little later.
Hose amount needed, these are kind of round about numbers and I have extra left but, it's better to have too much than not enough.
I also put almost everything on quick disconnects. Making this cost even greater. Started out using Racetronix dry breaks which can be found HERE
But I've been changing them over to Jiffy-tite fittings which can be found HERE
Coolant:
Vacuum:
The oil and trans cooler are really dependent on the actual cooler you buy. I used the Improved Racing EGM-114 for the oil cooler output but there are a bunch of other options. Along with 2 x
B&M 70298 Cooler
.
Power Steering:
I'm probably forgetting some things, let me know if you have any questions or if you want me to go fully into my fuel/oil/trans coolers.
Oh and why is this mostly? because this little hose on the power steering reservoir. I haven't thought of a good way to replace it yet.

- -4 - 15 ft -4 Hose
- -6 - 5 ft -6 Hose
- -8 - 20 ft -8 Hose
- This one could be a lot less, I used it for my external trans and oil coolers, but I had ordered 50 ft because of doing a fuel system at the same time
- -10 - 20 ft -10 Hose
- -20 - 5 ft -20 Hose
